Distance Education Bureau of University Grants Commission(UGC) has given recognition to IKG-Punjab Technical University for offering Open & Distance Learning Programmes. All the courses being offered by IKG-PTU under Distance Education mode are recognized by UGC.

As per the norms of UGC; IKG-PTU provides Personal Contact Programmes to all the students in its own Study Centers.
